Clinical Research | March 2012 – May 2015

My master’s research has been focused on investigating error sources, magnitudes, and physics theory of the CyberKnife Robotic Radiosurgery daily AQA test, which is a localization Quality Assurance procedure for guaranteeing sub-millimeter accuracy for Stereotactic Radio Surgery (SRS) and Stereotactic Body Radiation Therapy (SBRT) cancer treatments. I have become versed in the use of all aspects of the CyberKnife M6 system including GAFchromic EBT film, kV imaging system, robot manipulation and all aspects of the MultiPlan software. My research projects over the past three years have included ionization chamber cross calibration and electron therapy output factor quantification, implemented for compliance with American College of Radiology accreditation. I became versed in the Siemens Oncor Linear Accelerator and software with these projects.
